PriceGain Partner Caroline Rosén will explain how value-based pricing can impact the bottom line for professional services firms at the FAR Annual Conference. FAR is the professional institute for public accountants in Sweden. Their annual conference draws accounting professionals and specialists from throughout the country and from all industrial sectors.
Caroline Rosén has conducted several pricing projects within the service sector and professional firms and she will focus her talk on how a value-based approach to setting pricing can improve profits for accountancies and similar professional services firms. She will also look at the downside of “hourly rate” or competition-driven approaches that, while cognitively simple, can easily lead to reduced profitability for service businesses. Her presentation will include case-based examples that demonstrate how companies have improved profitability using smart approaches to pricing. She will also discuss how to determine how much customers are willing to pay for specific services.
