PriceGain has announced the 2011 schedule for its popular series of pricing seminars. These seminars are free of charge for qualified people.
So far, we are planning three pricing seminars for 2011, with more to be announced in the coming months:
- February 17, 2011: Improve long term performance with the right pricing strategy. We will help you understand what it means to have a sustainable strategy that will take you beyond short term fixes. Learn how to push back when your sales team wants a quick discounting program to stimulate immediate sales (and erode long term profits!)
- March 17, 2011: How to respond to customer demand for price cuts. Current economic conditions have led customers to think they can get almost any price they want if they are tough enough in their negotiations. We will discuss the best ways to sell value and also how to develop profitable strategies for selling to customers who focus on price as a primary element in their purchase decisions.
- May 20, 2011: Setting the right price in a new market. One of the most difficult things to do is be assured that you are going into a new market, whether geographical, demographic or vertical, with the most profitable price for your products or services. Set the price too low and you risk creating a lasting impression in the minds of your new customers that will make it difficult to raise prices later. You may gain some early advantages in terms of market share, but your overall profitability may suffer. Set the price too high and you may not sell enough to justify the investments required to move into that new area. We will explain how other companies have dealt with these challenges and how you can use some of the principles they have applied successfully to your own business.
